The last 12.1 openSUSE official live has kde 4.7.2 on it
What we give on exhibition the "promoDVD" is based on that (just the install part contain less software)
with 32bits on one face, 64bits on the other one

I've also heard about recreating a live openSUSE KDE with 4.8 on it.
just ask on ml opensuse-kde or opensuse-kde on irc what is the status.
