Depending on the subject, the comments on the Dot were full of gratuitous carping with low, no or negative information value. In other words, the Dot culture (what I was addressing here) did not support finding and fixing problems. These comments seemed to be aimed at damaging KDE. Tearing down KDE and dedicated developers does nothing to fix the real issues. When the comment thread is loaded with such comments that have no possibility of contributing to solutions, the overall effect diminishes KDE. And it leaves the impression (false in my view) that things are badly broken. And this devalues our reputation. In fact I cannot see anything I wrote that could be taken to mean that I didn't think there were real issues. If that is not the case, I'd like to know specifically what the complaint is. By the way, I use past tense to describe Dot comments, because they are now being moderated before, rather than after they are posted publicly.
