I made your and the other suggestions given.
See http://dot.kde.org/2012/03/29/kde-pim-needs-you

But there are still 2 gaps:
- A link to documentation on how to do cool stuff with Akonadi/KDE PIM
(does http://community.kde.org/KDE_PIM/Akonadi suffice? Is there an easy link
to say write an Akonadi app?)
- and to get people engaged and actually clean up the bug stuff, I think you
guys and girls need to organize a bug day. If that won't happen we could set
up a wiki page with some practical tips on bug triaging in KDE pim and
pointers on how to contact you all with questions...

You also might want to simply close all KDE PIM bugs older than 1 year. It
doesn't make sense to keep them, I'd say, and it makes sure people triage
reasonable bugs. And maybe also don't use bugs.kde.org for feature requests
anymore, ask ppl to use brainstorm.kde.org or so. These things I could
announce, too.

Cheers,
Jos

(I know I respond horribly slow. Yes, yes, I'm behind on mail and the folder
KDE PIM mail goes into isn't exactly my highest prio... Sorry.)
