My company is all about making a living with Free Software products,
still given preparation time, potential hardware costs, market material
and the actually presentations, this would be a significant investment.
In order to justify it, there must be a real chance of getting the money back 
somehow. As a service company, I don't earn on the hardware, neither on 
standardized (already assembled) GNU/Linux distributions.

There is a gap between presenting the potential for a better solution
and the solution itself, which in between there would be the effort
to assemble the better solution for production quality.

Installing a tablet with almost up to ready software and tuning it,
will take a few hours of time for a presentation. Reading it for rollout on 
100 seats will take a few days. Adapting software for production level
for thousands of seats will take weeks or months. All doable, but of course
I as an entrepreneur can only invest weeks if there is a real prospect
of business following up on it.

Intevation staff including myself is able to present such a tablet.
We would need the hardware and the necessary costs for installing and tuning 
the software covered.

Well they pay this out of their marketing budget, because they know that each 
machine or license sold is going into their pocket. With Free Software that I 
present to you, there is lockup that I get the money if you buy the product 
in the end.

There probably are other choices as well.
Webpad and Exoslate are very similiar. 
The question really is what you want to show.
If you want to show the hardware, you have to use a Samsung Galaxy
or Asus ARM based thing. If you want the software, the Webpad(Exoslate)
or Ideapad would be enough. It is possible to get the same software on the 
nicer hardware. It is just an effort too large just for a demonstration, I 
guess.

Sure, if you pay the time my company or others will be happy to install
and tune the software.
