Re: "Finding KDE companies" (Re: Promo BoF 9am Tomorrow)

Hi,

KDE Connect is a program that will begin right after Akademy. We are
working to present it before Akademy so every person/company around
KDE will be able to have detailed nformation about it.

KDE Connect is KDE interface with organizations. The proposal has been
disscused by KDE eV Board first and KDE eV afterwards. The Action Plan
is almost done to be discussed by KDE eV Board first and KDE eV later
on, so it can receive the official support needed since information
from companies and income/expenses will be involved.

So the answer is that, after several months of work, we are alsomost
in the release phase to have a global solution. At the beginning the
program will be small, but it is designed to allow a big grow.

 We pretend to get in contact with companies related to KDE before
Akademy or during the event to explain them KDE Connect personally if
necessary. As KDE eV Treasurer, I will put energy into communication
the following weeks.
