Yes, we want translations. Is there sufficient time to get them on the
main site? The past two release announcements saw few translations,
because there was not enough time to get them done prior to the
announcement release. 4.8 was translated into Persian; 4.7 was
available in Estonian, Russian and Ukrainian.

If the announcements are not going to be translated anyway, then there
is little lost by doing one announcement on the Dot. Having one
translation detracts from the fact that KDE supports more than 60
languages.
