I think that Nunos idea is really great and also in my opinion KDE has a lot 
of small issues. I dont see any issue with the monochromatic icons being 
white, for me the bigger issue is a lack of consistency. Whilst the systray 
icons and the clock are white, all other text elements in the standard air 
theme are black. I would prefer having text and the monochromatic icons in the 
systray in the same color because i think that would reduce visual noise. 

What is needed to adress all the small issues? Where should we begin? Plasma-
desktop? And then standard applications? And what should the default setting 
of a KDE desktop be? The current default is just unusable and the first thing 
i have to do is adapt a lot of different settings. It is great to have a lot 
of settings, but actually i prefer to have good standards, which i can adapt 
to my needs. KDE can be so beautiful. Why shouldnt we deliver a beautiful KDE 
right out of the box?
