Sure.

It's clear that the general public has not much of idea of what KDE
contributes ... well beyond releases periodically. This would be good
promotion for KDE.

If someone will take on getting the information for a story and
writing a draft, we can polish and publish. Or if someone would gather
the pertinent information and bring it to the promo team, there's
likely to be someone who can turn that into something good for KDE.
