A short name is far easy to write or remember > than "KDE Semantic Search Services". spotlight isn't a high value (or well known!) brand for Apple. imho it would be best if we can simply not try and brand these kinds of features in our promo and simply speak of them in terms of what they DO. this highlights that we do have multiple audiences: * developers: for whom these names are important as it gives us a language to speak about these technologies * users: for whom these names are worse than meaningless, but who LOVE what they can let them do when i presented Activities this past week to a group here it didn't matter that they were driven by "nepomuk" or that the UI was "plasma"; it didn't matter that the content add-ons was driven by "bodega" .. these names just don't matter to the user .. and KDE Semantic Search Services is just anoter name :) so let's try and talk about benefit rather than trying to name things (even generically) -- Aaron J.
