i totally agree with this. from my personal opinion (editor for a german 
news-site) it is really hard to collect all the necessary information, e.g new 
and important features. 

as of now the wiki lists some but not all features. and it is not always up to 
date, so some features might be listed but not implemented/included in the 
release. 

and as jos noted, even if a feature is listed, there is almost no 
explaination. so i end up with googling the feature and/or developer in the 
hope of finding an explainatory blog-entry. or i just startup the app in 
question and search for the new feature.

thats not efficient.

so, to sum up. if you really want this, you need to help promo by providing 
far more info,
