If it got mentioned in weird way, that is due to bad communication. Turning 
Workspaces into LTS is not a bad message per-se, I would even argue that it is 
good. And it is seems sensible to communicate decisions like no longer working 
on features in a series to the users and press. But we expected people to read 
the announcement a little bit more careful and of course, clearly, most folks 
just scanned it, thought "hey, another boring KDE release" and published 
something that seemed to make sense to them.

The article Howard is working on is meant to change that and we'd appreciate 
some help in reviewing it ;-)
