I don't know where they came from...I just noticed one instance of double 
spaces and then searched for them (in etherpad, which doesn't have search-and-
replace that I've found). Good to know that etherpad might be the culprit. 
However, the double spaces were not spread across the entire document; there 
were certain sections that had a lot, and others with none.

BTW, For whatever reason, etherpad is almost unusable for me in Chrome.

Martin Klapetek answered that this accurate. It still seems awkward to my 
technically-unenlightened thinking.

What that sentence says to me is this...
If you have a Qt application running on your Blackberry, it will follow the 
user-defined shortcuts from KDE. I doubt that.

I don't know what the second sentence in that item is trying to communicate...
The Qt shortcut system is a contribution from KDE.
There are KDE-designated libraries that all Qt applications draw from.

Is this more accurate if the second sentence is eliminated? And the first 
reads:
The Qt shortcut system was edited by David Edmundson so that now user-
configured shortcuts are fetched from the underlying platform.
