Good idea - I can do the same thing:
I work professionally as an illustrator and graphics designer right now. Its 
what I enjoy doing. I've done allot of AD work as well. 
I have so far mostly worked for ad-agencies, newspapers and magazines and 
became involved with KDE when I was invited to the Plasma Sprint a few weeks 
ago which was what started this "Lets revive/organize a design crew" idea. Due 
to the weird situation where I had little experience working with programmers 
and they seemed unusually glad meeting a designer, as if I was a unicorn that 
pooped candy (which seemed odd since I knew there had to be allot of designers 
involved)
I'm used to organizing large events, speak in front of people and I have a 
sincere passion for Krita and Open Source tools in general. 
As to what I enjoy doing: everything. (I work as a freelancer for a reason :) 
) Marketing, write-ups, event planning, graphics work - throw it at me. If I 
can't do it I'll throw it back or make certain its get done by someone else.
