Re: Who could do an interview or two?

Hi!

I have compiled the first interview, made an account of all your
suggestions and have below a note of some of the personal questions that
can be asked - the interviewee is Christian Onet. If anyone has any
suggestions then feel free to chip in!!

These are the specific questions for Christian Onet besides the general
ones -

1. How do you manage to balance your job and contribution to KDE?

2. Now; you work on the windows platform during your job and have an
in-depth understanding of it. But you prefer to use linux as your primary
OS, I assume. Could you give us a few reasons as to why one should make the
switch to Open source?

3. As a person who has been with KDE since his student days; what would
your advice be to the students who are currently contributing to KDE to
keep them motivated to continue development when they start working on a
full fledged job?

I am not sure if the second question is appropriate but I just thought that
it might be good to get the view of a person very closely involved with
development on both windows and linux platforms to get the people reading
the interview who haven't made the switch to linux to get inspired to do
it. Again; very sorry if the question is inappropriate or irrelevant; it
was just a suggestion.

The third question is to help give an insight to the student KDE developer
community to continue their work while pursuing their careers and how to go
about with it.

Any suggestions or potential questions are welcome.
