FWIW, back in 2011 I was doing the Youtube stuff alone. I was working on a
document outlining how we could push content to the channel. A copy can be
accessed here
<https://docs.google.com/document/d/1xRzNmxKTg-LN-5aYYatHjii2nd38UDHYViBgDfIrkWA/edit?usp=sharing>.
It should, IMHO, contain KDE Promo-generated content as well as
highlighting well-done and professional-looking content from the Youtube
world at large. I always wondered why, for example, the KDE Teatime series
<https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XBCgR_Yjmpk> was not published via the
channel. Once a video is published via the channel, pushing to G+ is a
one-button event.

Some random thoughts:
- I agree going forward that the name should be changed to KDE Community or
just KDE. Promo sounds like a closed-community term.
- Linking to the official G+ page makes sense, since they are both Google
services and would / should be linked together anyway.
- Finding good content is hard but worthwhile.
- Producing "official" content, along with the above, would be ideal.
- IMHO This needs to be part of a larger Social Media Promo Team.
- As we discussed in the past, there are tools that would really help out
with the SM component, esp. for ex. Hootsuite, although these types of
solutions are proprietary and that may be (and was then) a problem.

I would be glad to help out as needed, as I feel this is a needed thing to
be happening in the Community :) As for the Promo channel password, I'm
trying to see if I can locate it. If successful, who should I send it to?
