Re: KDE Neon and how to handle this?

Part of the problem is the communication issues.  Perhaps a huge part.

For example, some people state that KDE Neon is not the "official KDE
distro".  But, yet... there's this from the KDE board itself:

"The voting is over and the membership was clear in that KDE can have
a distribution and that the KDE Neon team is well-suited to do this
task. The board is committed to help the project move forward and put
everything at hand to make it happen."

I think clear, concise, direct communication could resolve the
problem.  But, perhaps, first the KDE board (and rest of the project)
need to get on the same page.

I'm going to need to write a follow-up article on this.  I would
*love* to include a statement from the KDE community (and board) so
that people outside of KDE (which, really, includes myself) can have a
realistic impression on what the project intends.  I'd like to give
you (the broader KDE community and board) time to come up with that
statement.  So I'll likely not put pen to paper until Monday morning.
A simple (1 to 3 sentence) statement would do wonders.  And I would
*happily* provide assistance in drafting it if it would help.
