Hey all, We're good to go. The press release is on KDE's website at https:// www.kde.org/announcements/kde-purism-librem5.php and I'll link it shortly from our main site. We have some more background stories in the making for a second wave for those not just copying the press release over. How is progress on your side? Please let us know quickly, so we can publish before press outlets in Europe close for the day. We'll be publishing our sites in the next half hour, so if you need us to hold back: let us know immediately, please. (A "we're good, go ahead" is also welcome, of course. :)) Cheers, -- sebas On Monday, September 11, 2017 8:37:50 PM CEST Paul Brown wrote: > On Sunday, 10 September 2017 21:40:35 CEST Todd Weaver wrote: > > I could see something along these lines (as a > > stream-of-consciousness): > > > > KDE, authors of Plasma Mobile endorses the Purism Librem 5 phone as > > a hardware platform they are interested in advancing as a fully > > supported Plasma mobile phone device. > > Purism is excited to see the KDE community and specifically KDE e.V. > > partnering with Purism to solidify KDE/Plasma on the Librem 5 > > hardware, creating a future where free/libre and open source > > software are available on a supported hardware platform for users > > to take back their privacy. > > > > "Having Plasma fully supported on hardware has been a dream for the > > KDE community, and partnering with Purism to forge a future where > > hardware will continue to work seamlessly with free/libre and open > > source software is the first time we can see the light clearly at > > the end of the tunnel" — <somebody />, <title />, KDE, e.V. > > > > "Purism is excited to work with many communities and organizations > > to advance the digital rights of people.
