Would it be an idea to put such announcements about KDE project releases also 
on https://www.kde.org/announcements/ ?

And on kde.org itself as well ?
(possibly with some priority when whose project release notes' disappear from 
kde.org/index.html, "major" projects like Plasma, KDE Applications and KDE 
Frameworks surely should stick longer, while those of Krita, KDevelop, 
Atelier, Digikam, $kdeproject would push away each other?).

That might help pointing out KDE to be a metaproject community now. Both to 
externals, but also to the individual KDE projects as well.
