Task of the Day: The call for Akademy talks ends soon

Hello,

The deadline for submitting talks for Akademy ends on the 12th of March.

	1. We have to check with Kenny how things are going (I'll do this).
	2. Announce on social media that the end (of the CfP) is neigh (again)!

We also said we were going try to get some more user-centric talks, demos, 
activities going for the public part of the event, the aim being to attract a 
wider, not-necessarily-technical audience. 

For example, I am talking to Jean-Baptiste Mardelle from Kdenlive and 
submitted a talk about advanced video-editing for end users interested in that 
sort of thing.

The purpose is (a) to have the creators of the software consult on the 
presentations to make sure you don't overlook anything and get everything 
right; (b) to have their support during live demos on stage of the bleeding 
edge versions of their apps and to answer technical questions from the 
audience, should they arise. We also want (c) to get developers used to 
presenting their work to end users by submitting joint presentations for 
events.  

So... What talk will you present? How will you make it end-user friendly? Who 
else will you ask to present it with you?
