Thanks Agustín. Your insight would be very much appreciated. 

I have only attended one of these events before, which was held alongside a 
LinuxCon in Barcelona. Apart from what you say (which makes the crowd good for 
attracting contributing developers) I remember there was quite a lot of head-
hunting going on, not only for individuals, but for projects, which means it 
is good place to attract sponsoring companies.
