Summary: We discussed the main goals of KDE Promo.
https://community.kde.org/Promo%27s_Long_Term_Goals is a good base
from 2017. KDE Promo focuses on increasing KDE's profile inside and
outside the Free Software world. This should lead to increased
adoption of our software, number of contributors to projects and
support from companies. Marketing our products and our community are
both important. KDE Promo is not so much focused on activities to
retain existing contributors. That is more in the realm of the
community working group and the onboarding working group. KDE Promo in
general is the home for organizing activities at conferences and other
events. The support for them may vary though depending on how much
impact we expect from it.

Take-aways: We need to work on making the distinction clearer in our
communication between individual people inside KDE Promo not being
able to support an event and KDE Promo as a whole not being able or
willing to. We need to spread tasks out on more shoulders through
clearer smaller tickets that we can advertise as opportunities to get
involved.

TODOs: create a cheat sheet for events; create more generic material
for events and make it easily accessible; consider training for
texting and layouting
