Dear Paul, dear KDE community,
I could work tomorrow on a date-based solution for displaying the banner. There are a few good examples on the internet on how to do that. I think the most trickiest part will be to get the code into the svn repo ;-) .
My KDE identity account can not access KDE's svn instance. Could somebody please add my account (cahfofpai) to the server?
