Does it need a special device, like an actual TV, to work? I ask because I 
tried with my regular monitor and the monitor complained with and "Out of 
range" error.

That said, I tried on a TV and the Pi didn't boot, but that could be anything 
from the power source to the microSD. I need to try more options. I am more 
curious about the monitor error.
