They are either outdated or show duplicated info from the "official" project websites. But we should also remove the version numbers from the homepage, since they are mostly outdated (e.g. current stable version of digiKam: 0.9.2). Right now the website is a static list of apps. It would be really nice to have a dynamic page instead, built reading projects metadata somewhere. This would allow to automagically update version numbers and also update the app list as soon as a project joins (or leaves) Extragear. But of course this would require some work and some volunteer. > > > > I'll like to ask everyone that used and uses this list and website for > > software announces, there's several other kde lists, but in general, > Planet > > KDE is a welcome place to do this. > > https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kde-announce-apps is particularly > interesting in that regard. > > Cheers, > Albert > Cheers, Elvis > > > This decision was made due the lack of proper reasoning answers, and > first > > inquiry to remove it was more than year ago, so, enough time to see if we > > should keep or not, so the answer was not. > > > > Regards, Helio > > _______________________________________________ > Kde-extra-gear mailing list > [email protected] > https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kde-extra-gear > --001a1134387049bd60051eeea37d Content-Type: text/html; charset=UTF-8 Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable <div dir=3D"ltr">
<div class=3D"gmail_extra">
<div class=3D"gmail_quo= te">2015-08-31 20:09 GMT+02:00 Albert Astals Cid <span dir=3D"ltr"><<a h= ref=3D"mailto:[email protected]" target=3D"_blank">[email protected]>= :
<blockquote class=3D"gmail_quote" style=3D"margin:0px 0px 0px 0.8ex;bo= rder-left:1px solid rgb(204,204,204);padding-left:1ex">El Dilluns, 31 d'= ;agost de 2015, a les 14:10:05, Helio Chissini de Castro va
escriure:
<span class=3D"">> Hello everyone.
>
> This list made his job from years, but now is time to let it go and as= sume
> this is a thing from the past.
