I have to agree with René. I am just a user, probably like yourself.

That said, it seems like your local mysql server is not starting. Check if it 
is around with 

ps aux| grep mysql

And. if it is not you could try running it by hand from the command line. If 
that fails, you will at least see the error and be closer to figuring it out.
