Dear Gwenview gurus, Browsing through picture directories by keyboard with Gwenview can be quite tedious. Imagine you have a directory with 100 subdirectories and 1 picture. Imagine you are looking in subdirectory #25 and you want to go up, move forward to subdirectory #27, and then descend again. Unfortunately, when you use the keyboard commands to go up, Gwenview helpfully moves you to the one picture in the main directory, and you have to use probably 25 to 30 keystrokes to move the cursor back to subdirectory #27. The behavior of the classic non-free program XV is how I think this should be done. When you go up in XV's file browser from subdirectory #25, it leave the cursor on subdirectory #25 in the main directory, so you can just press right arrow twice to get to subdirectory #27 and press enter to descend. Is there any way I can configure Gwenview to do the right thing? I looked through all of the possible configurations and nothing seemed to be what I was looking for. Thanks for your time in considering this issue. -- Joe Wells P.S. For me, “gwenview --version” says: Qt: 3.3.6 KDE: 3.5.2 Gwenview: 1.3.1 (This is because I'm using Ubuntu 6.06) P.P.S. I would be grateful if replies could be CC-ed to me, because I do not subscribe to the Gwenview-general mailing list. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Take Surveys.
