I think it was a remote directory, though i don't remember, but using
gwenview for some time while traveling (and using only local folders)
didn't give such a problem again.

Vivement 2.0 !!

Will there be a pre-loading of the next/previous few images, for big
megapixel images, so comparison between similar images would be easier ?

Another very cool feature would be a shortcut for "copy into the last
selected directory" that would copy skipping the choice/confirmation dialog.

In my own workflow, when selecting some picture to a "sel" directory
(always the same), it would simplify lots of things... (could i do it
easily as a plugin ? would there be a howto somewhere so i could try?)
