I should provide backtrace to Aurelien, since i need help here :(
IIRC gv crashes in main() in line
return kapplication.exec(); 
returning from some xine functions.
A more detailled bt will follow soon... but Aurelien if you could point me in where
you manage video file maybe i could try to fix it....
