Quickly, before the bad reaction, not because I want to use Windows... Hi all Just joined the list mostly to find out how 2.0 development is progressing and what the chances of a Windows version of Gwenview is in the short or medium term. This is part of our corporate strategy of open archaeology (http://openarchaeology.net) and is specifically and clearly so we can move away from Windows longer term i.e. when all applications are cross-platform, why would we still use Windows? Beta versions are just fine (he types on Firefox 3 alpha 8!) and compiling from source is feasible, with some hand-holding ;). For interest, this is to be used to add EXIF data to images from archaeological investigations, which (with the current interface) is so quick and easy in Gwenview. Any information on the availability/likelihood of a Windows port welcome.
