Hello All,

I use gwenview to display photos, and I was wondering how to make full
screen display look more attractive.

On the web the photos are usually displayed with a colored background, or
black borders, or with a border and the name of the picture below the photo,
etc... The aim is to enhance the presentation of the photo. It is highly
customisable through html pages.

Would it be possible to the same with gwenview? For example, if I want to
display a photo like this:
http://bp2.blogger.com/_trYfM1m9OGY/R0KyPB_-XnI/AAAAAAAAA-w/m-AierQcezY/s1600-h/Natural-Harbour.jpg
I have to modify the file and include the black borders in it. Maybe
gwenview might include a "full screen template" or "slide show template" to
do it automagically on the fly.

An xml template solution would make it easy for people to build their own
templates. I think this might be very useful also for people building their
own digital frame based on a gwenview display.

What are your opinions on this feature?

Calvin

ps: I have looked for this feature in gwenview, and I did not find it. Maybe
it already exists and in that case I am sorry and I promise to better rtfm
;)
