There is no way to disable the inter-processing system: it's started by the kdelibs, Gwenview does not have any DCOP code inside. When one doesn't use a KDE session, the dcopserver is supposed to start automatically when the first KDE application is started. - Do you have the possibility to start a KDE session on the machine and check if it works correctly? - You may want to rm the few dcop files in your home dir (~/.DCOPserver... something) and try again Hope this helps Aurélien ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: Microsoft Defy all challenges.
