It's called Gwenview because my wife is called Gwenaëlle, not Kwenaëlle. 
I expected this would create confusion, but it turns out people just 
don't care about the name origin or why it starts with a 'g' rather than 
a 'k'.
It's probably going to surprise you, but I think you are the first one 
to ask this question on this list.
