Border of selected thumbnails

Hi all,

I have a little question to which I couldn't find a solution looking at 
all possible setups (or, maybe, I missed it...)

I am wondering if it is possible to change the default colour for selected 
images: the default is to have a border a just little bit thicker and 
dimmer, but in this way you can't realize very well which images are 
selected at a first glance. It would be nice if the colour could be 
chosen by the user...
