I am afraid what is happening is ubuntu 8.10 features Gwenview from
KDE4, but libkipi and kipi-plugins from KDE3. If it is the case,
rebuilding Gwenview won't help you, you need to build KDE4 versions of
libkipi and kipi-plugins.
