HP Officejet Printing Failure

I scaled the image, then attempted to use Gwenview to print the image. It printed the image in landscape across a portrait page without letterboxing, scaling the image to fit it too. What's going on here? Looking at the scaling, the image is 92dpi printed, when it should be 600dpi. Is Gwenview ``not'' scaling the image? Is CUPS destroying it?
