This can be effected by opening an instance of dolphin on the same desktop. 
You can drag and drop into dolphin and use the "Folders" pane to ensure that 
the destination is correct.
I find this much easier and more versatile than moving files around inside 
gwenview itself.
It helps if you have a good sized display!
