a couple of days ago I joined the kde-promo mailing list and on Friday a 
attended my first irc meeting on #kde-www. I tried to summarize a part of the 
results and added a few of my own ideas. 

The summary about purpose, target group and technology of the main sites are 
below. 
A first draft of the content of a view main sites (in odf and pdf format) are

P.S.: Sort introduction:  My Name is Thomas Thym, I live near Munich, DE and 
work as scientific assistant at the University of the Bundeswehr at the Chair 
for International Management. My research focus: Management and Leadership in 
Open Source Communities. So kde-promo might be the right place for me, but I 
think that promo and www (at least the front page) should work together for a 
perfect presentation of kde at all events (online and offline).
