I wrote earlier but I didn't really get anything constructive to solve my problem. I just thought I'd try again. I'm running Core 4 with k3b-1.0.1-1. It comes up with no errors or warnings. I have just copied a half dozen movie dvds with no problem. All is well. (Lord of the Rings, Borat, Matrix, I know, don't yell at me.) Spiderman 1 fails. Here's the debug output. System ----------------------- K3b Version: 1.0rc6 KDE Version: 3.5.1-0.1.fc4 Red Hat QT Version: 3.3.4 Kernel: 2.6.14-1.1653_FC4 Devices ----------------------- SONY DVD RW DW-Q30A YYS2 (/dev/hda, ) [CD-R, CD-RW, CD-ROM, DVD-ROM, DVD-R, DVD-RW, DVD-R DL, DVD+R, DVD+RW, DVD+R DL] [DVD-ROM, DVD-R Sequential, DVD-R Dual Layer Sequential, DVD-R Dual Layer Jump, DVD-RW Restricted Overwrite, DVD-RW Sequential, DVD+RW, DVD+R, DVD+R Dual Layer, CD-ROM, CD-R, CD-RW] [SAO, TAO, RAW, SAO/R96P, SAO/R96R, RAW/R16, RAW/R96P, RAW/R96R, Restricted Overwrite, Layer Jump] I see it says 1.0rc6 but that's probably a minor config glitch. When I go to copy the image it says: Failed to retrieve all CSS keys. Video decryption failed. Any suggestions? -- Time flies like the wind. Fruit flies like a banana.
