Re: Problem playing video DVD's

Have you check to make sure your DVD player will play home
burned DVD's?
Older players will not. I learned it the hard way a while ago and
spent a lot of time with the computer when I really needed to buy
a new DVD player.

Also, try another brand of DVD blanks. Where your PC can read
the disks and play then and your DVD player can not, this can often
just be media issues.

I'll yield, but I don't think it's codec related. From the couple of
 DVD's I created with K3b, if you have a codec issue you can't
create the disk in the first place. Presuming you're mastering a video 
DVD.
