Problem with deleted files from K3b (Doest free HD space)

I burned a DVD hours ago, and I deleted all the files from K3b, seems to me 
that K3b did it but it doesnt free any space on my Hard drive. So I thought 
the files should be somewhere in my hard drive but not in my Trash (I 
checked)... What happened here? Any help or idea how to free that space 
(4GB)?.
