k3b kills entire system under fc7 xen

Running fc7 xen system (kernel-xen-2.6.20-2936.fc7). Invoking k3b
(either from menu or command line) results in total system crash. Cannot
switch console, mouse does not move.  Only solution is power off button.

If instead I boot the non-xen kernel (kernel-2.6.22.9-91.fc7) everything
works.

Occurs with both the prebuilt fc7 rpms and also if installed from
source.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.
