It still exists.  If you drag a file across, from a different
directory, that has the same name as one already in place, you get the
options to "Replace, Replace All, Ignore, Ignore All, Rename, Cancel".
However, if you try and copy the exact same file, from the same
directory, across K3b silently ignores it, since there's no point
trying to copy the same file twice.

IMO, this is correct behaviour.
