I've totally uninstalled all of lame and K3b and reinstalled them and K3b still will not rip an Audio CD to Mp3 I have even reduced the Lame Command in K3b to "/usr/bin/lame %f" but to no avail. I've made sure that all the proper files were loaded, such as liblame0 and Lame and my other ripping programs work to rip to Mp3 so I'm at a lose as to why K3b will not rip to Mp3 One thing I have noticed is that when I got to settings and then configure K3b and then to programs Lame is not listed with the other necessary programs, like cdrecord. I'm thinking that this is why Lame doesn't work Can someone instruct me as to how to make sure Lame is included in the necessary programs for K3b Thank you 2008/11/7 troypulk <[email protected]> Hello, I'm using Mandriva 2009 One with KDE 4 I have the following command for the Lame encoder in the K3b external audio encoder but K3b still will not rip an audio CD to mp3 /usr/bin/lame -h --tt %t --ta %a --tl %m --ty %y - %f I get an error that says the command failed. Lame is in two location's /usr/local/bin and /usr/bin I have tried them both but neither one works, Lame works because I can rip an audio CD into Mp3 using kaudiocreator. could you help me figure this out?
