I'd like to get a SuSE image written to a dvd. I do have the iso-image on disk, and can drag it to "new data dvd project". Subsequently the program correctly calculates the md5sum, and meanwhile I tick the verify-box. After having calculated the md5sum, the program starts to write the iso to dvd. While writing to dvd the "percentage indicator of progress" increases, from 0 at the beginning, till 50% after having written the hole immage to dvd. I made a snapshot of this situation, named ssk3bdvd1.png, which you can see at http://www.xs4all.nl/~michkloo/ssk3bdvd1.html. Subsequent snapshots are numbered up till number 7 (ssk3bdvd7.html) . with snapshot 1 displaying md5sums snapshot 2 displaying writing process of iso to dvd snapshot 3 displaying writing process almost finished snapshot 4 displaying writing process completed snapshot 5 displaying writing finished, starts verification process snapshot 6 displaying writing process halted, only displaying to be at 50% snapshot 7 displaying stopping of the unproductive writing process Anyone a suggestion how to get the writing process productive, that it starts the verification process, and continues till the end? At present I can mount the dvd, and it looks all right (regular directorystructure) but I cannot boot from it.
