k3b does not recognize dvd

My intention was to burn iso image to empty dvd+ .

k3b first calculates md5sum, asks then to insert
disk. I inserterd empty dvd+,kde opens pop up window
"empty dvd+r", but k3b still asks for new disk.

I opened and closed tray, changed disk, closed k3b (all this many times) 
managed to burn  first of five images, but after that none. 
Every time kde reconized empty dvd, but k3b only once. 

Burnt the last 4 using wodim, so hw is ok.

k3b 2.0.1, kde 4.4.5,  Debian squeeze.
