finding usb uri

I'm trying to set up my first printer under *nix. I have a Brother
HL-5140 connected to one of the 8 USB ports on my computer. No USB
devices are listed when I walk through the Add Printer dialog, but it
allows me to specify one with a URI. How would I go about
finding/configuring the URI? When I look around in Hardware, there
doesn't seem to be any info about the device listed as attached to any
of the USB ports.
