accessing a remote CUPS server

Hello,

I want to make KDE use a remote CUPS server instead of the one on localhost. 
Googling for an answer only revealed that I already asked this question three 
and a half years before:

Alas, the answer referred to KDE 3 while I now want to achieve the same effect 
with KDE 4.2.2.

So how do I make KDE 4 use the CUPS server of our department instead of my 
local CUPS server?
