Hi, Here are the restrictions that I have in place: [KDE URL Restrictions] rule_count=13 rule_1=open,,,,file,,,false rule_2=open,,,,file,,$HOME/network,true rule_3=open,,,,file,,$HOME/Desktop,true rule_4=open,,,,file,,$HOME/.kde,true rule_5=open,,,,file,,$HOME/backgrounds,true rule_6=open,,,,file,,$HOME/.wine,true rule_7=open,,,,file,,$HOME/.kderc,true rule_8=open,,,,file,,$HOME/.gimp-2.0,true rule_9=open,,,,file,,$TMP,true rule_10=open,,,,file,,/usr/share/,true rule_11=open,,,,file,,/opt/network/,true rule_12=open,,,,file,,/mnt/cdrom/,true rule_13=open,,,,file,,/mnt/cdrom2/,true Apart from using kiosk I haven't done any other restrictions to the computers, they are all default mandriva setups. The cdrom came from a company and it is just plain html, the students have had similar problems with cdroms that contain work, pictures, music and videos. Thanks for your time, Jo
