hi, i have had this problem with kiosktool on debian testing and
kubuntu with kde 3.5. The problem is that the kde menu name changed
from applications.menu to kde-applications.menu. So i downloaded the
source package, replace every instance of applications.menu with
kde-applications.menu in menueditComponent.cpp and rebuilt the
package. I think there is a patch for this somewhere too.
