FYI, This is kconfig_update running configuration updates and recording which updates have been applied already. I noticed that there are a lot of files that just contain version info like below that get created in the new user's .kde/share/config directory. As we are using NFS home directories I think the writing of all these files slows down the user's first login. I tried copying them into the similar directory in the kiosk profile but they still get created in the user's directory anyway. Obviously this is some sort of update process/check. Is there a way to stop this happening?
